Please meet our Community and Capacity Building Officer, Irene Kuzemko!
Irene is an intersex activist from Russia and Ukraine and has been active in the intersex movement since 2015.
During the past 1,5 years, Irene has been supporting OII Europe’s community and capacity building work while we navigated the administrative challenges put in our way by Covid-19, among others.
We are therefore very excited to finally welcome her as a staff member to our team. Her work will focus on community building and organizing, on creating trainings and educational measures for the intersex movement, and supporting OII Europe’s member organisations.
