OII Europe is happy to announce the Online Community Event and Public Conference 2022. This year’s event like the previous four community events consists of a one-day public conference and a two-day closed community event.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic the event for the second time will be held completely online. The registration to participate in the Online Community Event and Public Conference 2022 is free of charge and open to people from anywhere in the world. The event will be held in English.
Deadline to register for the Community Event and/or Public Conference is Thursday, September 15th, 2022.
The Public Conference, open for everybody, will be held on Friday, September 30th, 2021, tentatively from 13:00 to 16:30 CEST.
The Community Event for intersex people and their families, loved ones and support persons will be held on Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd, both days tentatively from 11:00 to 17:00 CEST.
The theme of the 2022 Online Community Event and Conference is “Staying Safe in Troubling Times”.
Note to researchers: In the past years, we have received multiple applications from endosex (non-intersex) researchers for attending OII Europe´s community event. Researchers will not be allowed to attend the community event. Researchers will be allowed to attend the public conference. Of course, if you are a researcher and also intersex you may register for the community event but as a participant. Conducting research at the community event will not be permitted.
