OII Europe, together with AIRE Centre (Advice on Individual Rights in Europe), the Dutch Council for Refugees (DCR), the European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE), ILGA-Europe, and the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) put forward a submission to intervene jointly to the European Court of Human Rights in the case of LB v France (67839/17).
The case concerned the expulsion to Morocco, after the rejection of his asylum application, of an intersex person of Moroccan nationality who had chosen and undergone gender confirmation treatment in France.
